Injury report: Trufant, Freeman to fully practice

Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant (ankle) and running back Devonta Freeman (knee) will fully participate in practice on Thursday, coach Dan Quinn said.

He was not sure if wide receiver Julio Jones (ankle) would practice after participating in the team’s walk-through portion of practice.

Kicker Matt Bryant (right calf) and linebacker Duke Riley (knee) will not practice.

The Falcons worked out cornerback Byron Maxwell on Monday, but Quinn said the team wasn’t looking to make a move at this time.

The Falcons also worked out defensive backs Jeremy Boykins (Central Florida), Marcus Cromartie (Wisconsin) and Robertson Daniel (Brigham Young) with Maxwell.

“He certainly looked good, looked fit, looked strong, looked healthy,” Quinn said of Maxwell. “That part came through really good, and I know he’s anxious to play and get back going.”

The Falcons must make a decision on cornerback Jalen Collins, who’s 10-game suspension is winding down.

No morning update was given on defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (ribs) and defensive end Takkarist McKinley (shoulder), who were limited on Wednesday.
