Falcons to practice in pads on Saturday

The defending NFC champion Atlanta Falcons are set to hold their first practice Thursday.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said the first padded practice -- with some live hitting -- will be held Saturday. He revealed the news during an appearance on the team’s flagship radio station, 92.9 The Game.
