Falcons WR Julio Jones makes history in Week 17

ATLANTA — Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is in rare air.

During Sunday’s NFC South showdown versus the Carolina Panthers, Jones become just the second receiver in NFL history to record four-straight 1,400 receiving yards seasons, per ESPN Stat & Info.

Indianapolis Colts great Marvin Harrison is the only other wideout in NFL history to achieve the feat. Harrison registered four-straight years of at least 1,400 yards from 1999-2002.

Jones entered the game with 83 receptions for 1,364 yards and 3 touchdowns on the year. He had 4 receptions for 54 yards at the start of the fourth quarter.

The Falcons currently lead the Carolina Panthers 16-7 in the fourth quarter.
