Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones will be limited in practice to start the week after he injured his back late in the 30-26 win over the Lions on Sunday.

Jones, who said he could have gone back in the game if needed, is expected to get a “good bit” of practice in, Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Monday.

Also, the Falcons likely be without defensive end Vic Beasley (hamstring) and defensive tackle Courtney Upshaw (ankle) this week as they prepare for Sunday’s home game against the Bills. Right tackle Ryan Schraeder (injured last week) and free safety Ricardo Allen are in the league’s concussion protocol.

“Injury wise, we’ll see where we are at with Beasley and Upshaw, who missed the game,” Quinn said. “We’ll see where they are for this week. Those two guys are working hard.

“The two guys in the concussion protocol would be Ricardo Allen and Ryan Schraeder. Past that, we are pretty good shape.”
