Julio Jones missed practice Thursday and is questionable for Sunday's game.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (toe) sat out practice for a second consecutive day Thursday and is questionable to play against the 49ers on Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

Coach Dan Quinn said Jones participated in Thursday’s light walk-through session. The Falcons plan to have Jones “push it” Friday and will clear him to play when Jones is “able to explode pain-free,” Quinn said.

Jones suffered the injury during a game against the Chiefs on Dec. 4 and didn’t play against the Rams on Sunday.

Cornerback Jalen Collins (knee) also missed practice for the second consecutive day. Quinn said Collins would run on Thursday and, if all goes well, return to practice Friday. Collins didn’t finish the Rams game because of the injury.

Three other players also didn’t practice Thursday: safety Kemal Ishmael (shoulder), receiver Nick Williams (concussion) and safety Robenson Therezie (ankle). Defensive end Adrian Clayborn (groin) and wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (groin) practiced on a limited basis.
