Texas A&M crushes West Virginia, Aggie Twitter goes nuts

No. 25 Texas A&M entered Friday night’s game as an underdog to No. 11 West Virginia, but the Aggies shocked the college basketball world with a dominating 88-65 victory over the Mountaineers.

Despite a rocky few minutes — mostly caused by Bob Huggins’ patented “Press Virginia” defense — the Aggies controlled play most of the night. They shot 48.4 percent from the floor and 52.6 percent from 3-point range, never giving West Virginia’s offense a chance to catch up.

Texas A&M accomplished this despite the suspension of arguably its best player, Robert Williams. Tyler Davis and Admon Gilder led the way, each scoring 23 points.

The game was played on Ramstein Air Base in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany as part of the 2017 Armed Forces Classic.

Here was some of the best reaction from Texas A&M’s surprising win over West Virginia:

This is two 4-6 teams playing out the string in two disappointing seasons, looking to add a late...

Michigan still fired up about crucial fourth-down call last season at Ohio State

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich is still angry about the end of the Ohio State game last season — and he’s just as angry about what happened in the immediate aftermath. As he headed to the visitors locker room at Ohio Stadium, fans stormed the field to celebrate the Buckeyes’ double-overtime...

The Braves’ penalties are devastating. (And Coppolella is banned for life)
This was not a slap on the wrist. This was a punch in the nose. I thought it would be bad. It was worse.  MLB hammered the Braves to the extent that the consensus No. 1 farm system won’t be the consensus No. 1 anymore, and maybe not in the top three. When the biggest achievement of three grueling rebuilding years was having the top-ranked...

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith did not buy Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and Lincoln Riley’s emotional press conferences, Monday, after Riley stripped Mayfield of his starting role and captain status.
