SEC Memes: The pain is real for Georgia Bulldogs fans

It’s a painful time to be a member of Georgia Bulldogs nation.

The team’s overtime loss to Alabama in the College Football Playoff Championship Game was a sobering reminder that we’re closing in on four decades since the Dawgs last won a national championship. The meme-makers weren’t about to allow Kirby Smart’s squad off the hook easily after Georgia squandered a 13-0 lead.

Naturally, despite all the noise of the SEC Championship CFP Championship Game, someone still managed to dig down deep to find the time and energy to take a shot at Florida and Tennessee.

We present to you some of the best memes from around the conference in the wake of Alabama’s thrilling 26-23 win over the Bulldogs.

Special thanks goes to the members of the Facebook page SEC Throwdown for their contributions, including Greg Baird-Kelly, Jonathan Barber, Destin, Patrick Brown, Shannon Brown, Tim Cantrell, Dustin Goad, Trey Hamilton, Justin Holdbrook, David Leonard, Ralph Martin, Glen Meynardi, Ronald Rourk and Jimmy Welch.
