Report: Georgia WR coach James Coley expected to be the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M

Georgia could have to replace a key staffer very soon. According to a report from Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated, wide receivers coach James Coley is expected to become the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M.

I'm hearing that Dameyune Craig, who played QB for Jimbo Fisher at Auburn is expected to follow his old coach to #TAMU as offensive assistant, probably coaching WRs. Ex #Miami OC James Coley, now at #UGA, is expected to end up as #TAMU's OC, working with Jimbo again.

Coley has spent the past two seasons with the Bulldogs after serving as Miami’s offensive coordinator. Texas A&M hired Jimbo Fisher to be its head coach last Friday. Coley has a number of ties to the South Florida area. Coley was also the offensive coordinator at Florida State from 2010-12.

Georgia is set to host Texas A&M in 2019.

Coley isn’t the only Georgia assistant with his name in the news, as outside linebackers coach Kevin Sherrer has been linked to potential openings at both Tennessee and at Alabama.

Georgia is set to play in the College Football Playoff, as the Bulldogs will take on Oklahoma. The game will be played on Jan. 1.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is back, but not to save the season

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is returning to the field on Sunday against the 9-4 Carolina Panthers, but he doesn’t want to be looked at as a knight in shining armor. The Packers are 7-6, and if they go undefeated they will have a strong chance to make the playoffs. Rodgers has been out for the last eight...
