Georgia Tech players’ knock-out fight caught in video

A video surfaced Tuesday, via TMZ Sports, showing a knockout fight between Georgia Tech players Step Durham and Lance Austin.

The incident inside a Tech facility reportedly occurred in the spring.

Durham and Austin were among five returning cornerbacks this fall.

In the video (WARNING: GRAPHIC SCENE WITH GRAPHIC LANGUAGE),  Durham pushes Austin and connects with a single swing to the right jaw, knocking him out.

Austin collapses against a chair and Durham attempts to pick him up.

Georgia Tech offered this comment to TMZ:

"Georgia Tech's football coaching staff became aware of the incident between teammates and friends shortly after it occurred. Discipline was handled internally."

Austin and Durham did not miss playing time. The Yellow Jackets finished the season 5-6.

The two players released statements through the Tech sports media-relations department.
