The leading tackler in Georgia Tech history, Yellow Jackets great Keith Brooking will be honored as an ACC legend at this year’s league championship game.

In four seasons, 1994-97, Brooking accumulated 467 tackles, passing the school record of 437 by Jerrelle Williams. He was named All-ACC as a senior before being drafted in the first round by the Falcons and beginning a 15-year NFL career.

His 20-tackle game against Clemson in 1995 is tied for fifth most in Tech’s modern era. He had 17 solo tackles in the game, which is the Tech record.

Brooking was a five-time NFL Pro Bowler and was a two-time second-team All-Pro.

The class of 14 legends will be honored Dec. 1 in Charlotte, N.C., the night before the ACC championship game, and then prior to the game at Bank of America Stadium the following day.
