Two former Georgia Southern football players - Edwin Jackson and Garrett Frye - have signed undrafted free agent contracts with NFL teams.
Jackson, a linebacker from Atlanta who was named first-team All-Sun Belt, signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Jackson, a former walk-on for the Eagles, had 218 total tackles in 48 career games for the Eagles.
Frye, an offensive lineman from Cumming, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. Frye was part of an offensive line that helped pave the way for the nation's most potent rushing offense as the Eagles racked up 381.1 yards per game and two of the top four single-game rushing totals in FBS.
