Bryan McClendon will continue as Georgia's interm head coach through the bowl game.

Will Muschamp announced a few new additions to his coaching staff on Wednesday, including a name that UGA fans are familiar with.

Bryan McClendon, who served as UGA’s recruiting coordinator under Mark Richt the last two years, has been hired as South Carolina’s co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach.

“Bryan is an up-and-comer in the coaching profession,” Muschamp said in a statement. “It says a lot about his abilities as a coach to be named the interim head coach for the Bulldogs in their bowl game.”

McClendon, who is working as UGA's interim head coach through the bowl game, has been an assistant for the Bulldogs since 2009. He also played football at UGA from 2002 to 2005, and he's the son of former Bulldogs star running back Willie McClendon. Bryan has coached both receivers and running backs at UGA.
