* Dennis Schroder had a career-high and game-high 33 points. He did have seven turnovers in addition to three bounds and four assists.

* Paul Millsap scored 23 points with 14 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steals.

* Tim Hardaway Jr. had 18 points, including a key four-point play and game-sealing 3-pointer.

Key stat

The Hawks scored 40 points in the third quarter after a combined 43 points in the first and second quarters. The 40 points was a high for any quarter this season.

Noteworthy

* The Hawks’ starters outscored the Bucks’ starters 92-61.

* The 20-point deficit was the largest comeback for the Hawks this season. The previous best was eight points.
