* Giannis Antetokounmpo had game-highs with 34 points and 13 rebounds for the Bucks. He also had five assists and three blocks.

* Greg Monroe had 14 points and 10 rebounds but it was his baskets with 40 and 17.9 seconds left that lifted the Bucks.

* Dennis Schroder had 28 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. He scored 15 third-quarter points to get the Hawks back in the game.

Key stat

The Hawks held a 49-35 rebound advantage but it was a Bucks’ offensive rebound late that kept alive a key possession.

Noteworthy

* Thabo Sefolsoha scored just three points, all from the free-throw line, but was a plus-10 despite guarding Antetokounmpo much of the second half.
