The Hawks signed rookie guard Tyler Dorsey to a two-year guaranteed minimum contract Friday. The second-round pick agreed to the deal earlier this month.

Dorsey, the 41st overall selection in June, averaged 14.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 30.0 minutes last season for Oregon. The guard helped Oregon reach the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament. He was also All-Pac 12 honorable mention.

Dorsey appeared in three games for the Hawks’ entry in the Las Vegas Summer League this month before he missed the final two games with a right ankle sprain. He averaged 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 12.3 minutes before the injury.

Dorsey has been invited to the training camp for the Greek National Team ahead of the European Championships in August.
