Maybe the Falcons – or at least a falcon - can help the Braves.

The struggles that the Braves have had against the Phillies this season have been well-documented. They are 2-11 against the team with the worst record in Major League Baseball. The inexplicable struggles have caused much consternation in Braves Nation.

The Braves are 56-68 overall but 54-57 against every team other than the Phillies.

Maybe the Braves’ luck against the Phillies is about to change.

The Phillies had an unexpected visitor Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park in a double-header loss to the Marlins. A juvenile Peregrine Falcon flew into the stadium and made himself at home for a while.

The Braves play a three-game series in Philadelphia next week, from Aug. 28-30. The Phillies have swept three of the four series against the Braves this season.

At this point, Braves fans may look anywhere for a positive sign.
