Oops. I accidentally posted a blank entry here. Here’s the news: Bo finally has a CD coming out called “See the Light” and it’s not on RCA. He never said RCA dropped him or vice versa. It now looks like he’s releasing his latest independently and it’s due out October 23.
It’s not yet available for preorder on amazon.com but if you have a PC, you can do so at walmart.com.
You can hear Witness on his myspace page. It sounds more like the Southern rock he prefers over the pop-rock of “The Real Thing.”
His MySpace page says he’s also appearing October 11 at the Cumming Country Fair, the only scheduled concert. Last year, he had to cancel his appearance there because of health problems. Let’s hope he’ll be able to make it this time. Cumming is where his mom lives and he spent a few years in his childhood here in Atlanta. He now lives in Nashville.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!
Rodney...I think there's a glitch in the program!
Posted by: Erin on September 14, 2007 8:18PM EST
Rodney, just wanted to let you know that the supposed CLAY/RUBEN/KIM LOCKE tour is not true at all. Clay blogged at his Official Fan Club denying the rumors. He did confirm that Kimberly Locke had approached him with the idea, but that he had never agreed to do the tour and has no plans to do so.
See you next month! Bring your wife! And your dance moves! We'll have to have another dance-off during the intermission.

I like Bo. Hope this one is the charm. He has a good voice and just needs the right music that he feels comfortable with.

Bobice.com has actually just updated news on its site.
For this new cd, his collaborators are some of the top notch studio musicians like Chuck Leavell, Rolling Stones' keyboardist and drummer Steve Gorman of Black Crowes, legendary session guitarist Waddy Wachtel (The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley, James Taylor, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan) and award-winning bassist Glenn Worf (Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits, Aaron Neville, Tammy Wynette, Bob Seger).
Bo did some acoustic gigs in the spring after having sung the soundtrack to Blades of Glory early in the year. He has also been appearing in some promo events involving Peavey Guitars of which he has been chosen as endorser. He cut short the tour in October last year for his second emergency surgery that corrected the earlier surgery he had in August 2005. He used this downtime to write more songs for this new cd. He has been a busy boy even while recuperating at home.
And yes there will be a video for his first single "Witness" which incidentally is being done in Nashville as of this writing.
You can read more details on bobice.com and hear snippets on his myspace: ww.myspace.com/bobice.

did ya'll see this shizz?
CARACAS (Reuters) - A Venezuelan man who had been declared dead woke up in the morgue in excruciating pain after medical examiners began their autopsy.
Carlos Camejo, 33, was declared dead after a highway accident and taken to the morgue, where examiners began an autopsy only to realize something was amiss when he started bleeding. They quickly sought to stitch up the incision on his face.
"I woke up because the pain was unbearable," Camejo said, according to a report on Friday in leading local newspaper El Universal.
His grieving wife turned up at the morgue to identify her husband's body only to find him moved into a corridor -- and alive.
WTH?????

Actual headline on 11Alive.com. Yep. A couple of idiots have procreated, yet again.
Posted by: mynana on September 24, 2007 10:30AM EST
Poor kid. I can hear the jokes now.
Note to self: Don't get in accident in Caracas. Especially if you are still alive.
Posted by: on September 24, 2007 10:33AM EST
What kind of stupid do you have to be to name your kid that? Let the ridiculing commence!
Posted by: 1CHOCL8T on September 24, 2007 10:34AM EST
LOL @ Nana. Kimmy I read that story last week somewhere, that's just crazy!
Posted by: on September 24, 2007 10:36AM EST

OMG - Anthony's (my husband) train just ran into the back end of a 18 wheeler who thought he could clear the track in front of them in Wichita Falls. He said he and and engineer hit the floor, but they are okay. He's coming home - they'll flip them back and will have 3 days off for trauma.
mynana, thank God he is o.k. I tell people all the time that truck drivers are the worst drivers out there. They think they know everything.
Posted by: on September 24, 2007 10:50AM EST
OMG, Nana....I'm glad he's ok. how scary....glad he gets to come home.
Posted by: on September 24, 2007 10:51AM EST
I agree Shay. they think they know everything and they think they are above the law/rules of the road. Idiots

The Wrigley Fields is nothing...
It has been on the news here but not sure if has been there or not. There is a new website now along the lines of myspace.com. It is called "my fee implants". Women post pictures of themselves and men will pledge money to help them get the implants. They said several women nationwide had already raised the money to get implants.
do people just not have any dignity any more?
Posted by: mynana on September 24, 2007 10:54AM EST
Anthony said he and the engineer thought they were going to flip for sure, because the trailer of the tuck was empty. Glad they didn't. Their guardian angel was with them today for sure. I'll be so glad when he retires in March.
Posted by: 1CHOCL8T on September 24, 2007 10:55AM EST
Nana, God speed to your husband and his co-worker! I'm glad they're okay.
Hummm, I wonder if there is a liposuction fund. I'm kidding!!!
Mitch, no they don't have any dignity.
Posted by: on September 24, 2007 10:57AM EST
Mitchy....nothing surprises me anymore. If that was my daughter.....or son...good lord almighty
Posted by: on September 24, 2007 11:02AM EST
LOL @ Shay!
Posted by: mynana on September 24, 2007 11:06AM EST
I can't imagine asking for money over the next for implants. No pride in yourself is right. Yuk. I can hear the conversation now: "Don't you like my implants, I was able to get them from contributions from people I don't know on the internet." Will there be a website for "show and tell" for the contributors to see if they like what they paid for?
