Given the online buzz, it’s probably Lauren and Danny who are goners tonight but personally, they all look good to me so I can’t even judge the best or worst though I do like Sabra a lot.
I sure want to go to see the show this year, but i just cannot afford it *sigh*
i've always loved "dance" ... i used to watch the ballroom dancing competitions on GPTV or whatever .... vedddddy formal stuff, that!!! back then, anyway, and they SURE as heck didn't wear those skimpy costumes they apparently wear NOW... it was all formal gowns and tuxes
but i loved to watch it
and i learned to jitterbug at a very early age from my folks.... many a family dinner would be interrupted by daddy and one of the girls (mom and 3 daughters) hopping up to dance to some song on the radio.... lots of laughter, but dinnertime was NOT very staid and solemn in our house in any event! and i love to watch a good dancer dance, whether its breaking or jive or formal ballroom or latin or whatever... i have trouble understanding SOME forms of dance more than others, but if the bodies are moving "in the music" and lookin' good, i love to watch it....
Well, now, I might pay 54.00 to see the "right" person dance. I'm not that old a grandma yet. But the stars from So You Think You Can Dance, maybe not. I paid less than that to see Taylor Hicks in concert and really enjoyed that one. Soul Patrol was there too. Great night.
The other night I was invited out for a night with "the girls." I promised my husband that I would be home by midnight. Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy.
Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed three times. Quickly realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another nine times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him.
(Even when totally smashed, three cuckoos plus nine cuckoos totals 12 cuckoos = MIDNIGHT!)
The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, and I him " Midnight." He didn't seem pissed off at all. Whew! Got Away with that one!
Then he said, "We need a new cuckoo clock." When I asked him why, he said, "Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said, 'Oh. Shit,' cuckooed four more times, cleared it's throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped Over the coffee table and farted."
KPH, this is the same group that didn't want to go to Swinging Richards and now they are talking about tipping male strippers. Talk about fickle women.
Y'all stop talkin bout dancers, I'm having flashbacks of my ladies nite out a few months ago.........all that hot chocolate, prime usda floating around was just too much. Shay, how can you watch and not touch, lol?
Eve, I went to a private party once and the male dancer was putting his "genitals" on the women and I almost puked. I don't mind watching the dance, but don't put your gonads in my face. That's nasty! And then he was extra extra long. Something just didn't look quite right.
Eve, with the heat index, its a blessing the game ain't still in the 3rd inning. I don't see how they can see in all that sun. I would be dropping the ball left and right.

aw, i missed the stripping/dancing conversation....why in the hell does my boss come in everyday at 2:30-3:30 and want to give me work to do when i leave at 4:00?
I saw a baby gator once and I almost peed in my pants! Mommy had to be close by so I packed up my fishing pole and ran to the car. Hubby try to hit him on the head with a beer bottle to get him to go away but I told him he was crazy because that gator and his boyz was gonna get him.

Been at the pool with grandson. Thanks for the apology. I appreciate it. Yes, i'm the Rosie defender. Sorry, I like her, she does a lot of good - and in her blog answers further, she said how sorry she felt for Paula. We all have our bad side. Even me! :-) You guys are all fun.
