8/28: Clay, Kellie on "Smarter Than a 5th Grader"
By: Rodney Ho | August 28, 2007, 12:49PM EST
Fox knows about synergy. It’s bringing back two favorite “Idol” alums and placing them on charity versions of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” set to air this November on Thursdays at 8.
Alpharetta’s Jeff Foxworthy will quiz Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler on their knowledge of basic geography, history, science, math and English. This should be a hoot. Billy Bush, Regis Philbin and Tony Hawk are others who will take part.

Man that's so cool! I definately wanna see Kellie even though I don't think she is stupid i just believe she wanted to be funny and have fun, although she may not have known what a minx was...I know I didn't and i wasn't very much younger than her at the time, maybe 4 or 5 years.
Anyways, Lisa Tucker has a myspace. I know, lots of people always make myspaces of their favorite people but this has to be hers because she had joined way before she even auditioned for American Idol and that's when her comments started- before AI. Also there's so much detail. She has tons of pictures from her personal life and it all plays out. I know this is really her myspace. It's so cool. Also, her boyfriend has a myspace, and his is way before her audition too. So cool to have found it. I sent her a message that she hasn't read yet, people probably send them to her all the time, but I just think it's cool to have found it and that she has one that she actually goes on.

Current Point Spreads
LSU -18 @ Miss St. @ Ga -6.5 OK. State @Auburn -13 Kansas State @ Cal -6 Tennessee @ S.Carolina -29 Louisiana Lafayette @ Arkansas -24 Troy St. Ole Miss -3 @ Memphis
There is no line for the Alabama, Florida, Kentucky or Vanderbilt games due to the fact that they have chose to play high school teams this week.
Also @ Notre Dame -3 Georgia Tech I don’t care anything for Tech but I hate the always over ranked Fighting Irish! Go Tech

mynana criminal; acquittal;yes;yes (laughing)
it was, as can be reasonably expected in athens, georgia, a DUI on a student. However...the circumstances were a little different than the normal, and the UGA police were, well, inept is the nicest word i can think of at the moment, based on their OWN testimony and demeanor. the witnesses pretty much nixed the "impaired" theory of the prosecutor in the jury's collective minds, and we felt that the kid really WASN'T impaired at the time of the arrest (it had been 3-4 hours since his last beer, by his own AND witness testimony)... the issue was "Did the State prove beyond a reasonable doubt that X was dui so as to impair his driving, and did he violate traffic laws by pulling out in front of oncoming traffic (failure to yield)." There was MORE than reasonable doubt based on not only the defense witnesses but the officers themselves involved were contradictory and unclear.
Normally i'd have assumed it would be a snap to convict one of these kids, but there really WAS a clear question of guilt.
It was interesting!

HEY Linny....can you get tickets to uga games

Posted by: mynana on August 28, 2007 3:26PM EST
That's okay flatscreen. I'm one of those diehards. Every team has one. I lived in SF (Niner land) the year the Boys were rebuilding and went through a lot, but still wore my blue. I don't care for Jones that much, but don't hold that against the players. Linnykat, sounded better than the tria I was on. It was so boring, they had to wake a different jury up (discretly) just about every week for 7 weeks. HA.

Here is my favorite Bo Diddley tune that I am sending out with a prayer.
I walk 47 miles of barbed wire, I use a cobra-snake for a necktie, I got a brand new house on the roadside, Made from rattlesnake hide, I got a brand new chimney made on top, Made out of a human skull, Now come on take a walk with me, arlene, And tell me, who do you love?
Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love?
Tombstone hand and a graveyard mine, Just 22 and I dont mind dying.
Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love?
I rode around the town, use a rattlesnake whip, Take it easy arlene, dont give me no lip,
Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love?
Night was dark, but the sky was blue, Down the alley, the ice-wagon flew, Heard a bump, and somebody screamed, You should have heard just what I seen.
Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love?
Arlene took me by my hand, And she said ooowee bo, you know I understand.
Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love? Who do you love?

Good song, KPH
Shay, I hope your medical problems are minor and easily solved.
Been busy. Scarlett, the new puppy, ate something toxic in the backyard...don't know what. She's being cared for but it's kind of touch and go at the moment. She has been so full of joy and energy that it is very hard to see her this sick. Vet thinks it might have been a toadstool from all the rain we got in the last few days.

D...welcome back...sorry about the pup!!!!

now this is one of my all time fave Bo Diddley songs...
Now when I was a little boy, At the age of five, I had somethin' in my pocket, Keep a lot of folks alive.
Now I'm a man, Made twenty-one, You know baby, We can have a lot of fun.
I'm a man, I spell M-A-N...man.
All you pretty women, Stand in line, I can make love to you baby, In an hour's time.
I'm a man, I spell M-A-N...man.
I goin' back down, To Kansas to Bring back the second cousin, Little John the conqueroo.
I'm a man, I spell M-A-N...man.
The line I shoot, Will never miss, The way I make love to 'em, They can't resist.
I'm a man, I spell M-A-N...man.

A couple who have been happily married for eight years go out on the town.

Posted by: War Eagle on August 29, 2007 8:34AM EST
A hippie gets onto a bus and sits next to a nun in the front seat. The hippie looks over and asks the nun if she would have sex with him.
The nun, surprised by the question, politely declines and gets off at the next stop. When the bus starts again, the bus driver says to the hippie, "If you want, I can tell you how you can get that nun to have sex with you."
The hippie of course says that he'd love to know, so the bus driver tells him that every Tuesday evening at midnight the nun goes to the cemetery to pray to the lord. "If you went dressed in robes and some glowing powder," says the bus driver, "You could tell her you were God and command her to have sex with you."
The hippie decides to try this out. That Tuesday, he goes to the cemetery and waits for the nun. Right on schedule, the nun shows up. While she's in the middle of praying, the hippie walks out from hiding, in robes and glowing with a mask of god. "I am God, I have heard your prayers and I will answer them but you must have sex with me first," he says.
The nun agrees but asks for anal sex so she might keep her virginity. The hippie agrees to this and quickly sets about having sex with the nun.
After the hippie finishes, he rips off his mask and shouts out, "Ha ha, I'm the hippie! "
The nun replies by whipping off her mask and shouting, "Ha ha, I'm the bus driver!"

A Letter From A Redneck Mother To Her Son Dear Son, I'm writing this slow 'cause I know you can't read fast. We don't live where we did when you left. Your dad read in the paper that most accidents happen within twenty miles of home, so we moved. Won't be able to send you the address as the last Arkansas family that lived here took the numbers with them for their house, so they wouldn't have to change their address. This place has a washing machine. The first day I put four shirts in it, pulled the chain and haven't seen 'em since. It only rained twice this week, three days the first time and four days the second time. The coat you wanted me to send to you, Aunt Sue said it would be a little too heavy to send in the mail with them heavy buttons, so we cut them off and put them in the pockets. We got a bill from the funeral home, and it said if we didn't make the final payment on Grandma's funeral bill, up she comes. About your sister, she had a baby this morning. I haven't found out whether if it is a boy or a girl so don't know if you are an Aunt or Uncle. Your Uncle John fell in the whiskey vat. Some men tried to get him out, but he fought them off playfully, so he drowned. We cremated him and he burned for three days. Three of your friends went off the bridge in a pickup. One was driving and the other two were in the back. The driver got out. He rolled down the window and swam to safety. The other 2 drowned. They couldn't get the tail gate down. Not much more news this time. Nothing much happened. If you don't get this letter, please let me know and I will send another one.
Love, Ma
