Bravo’s little-seen “Hey Paula” has shown Paula Abdul being dropped from the upcoming “Bratz” movie and she doesn’t take it well. Here’s an mtv.com story about it..
“Just before heading to bed, I decided to check my e-mail, and I discover an e-mail about the ‘Bratz’ movie I’ve been working so hard on,” she explains in a voiceover, as we watch the moment unfold. “Now, all of a sudden, I’m infuriated. … After all of these long months of hard work, I’m getting an e-mail that basically says they really don’t need me.
With her mouth hanging open in shock, the video shows Abdul collapsing into a chair and tearfully bawling, “Where is God when you need Him? Because this does not make any sense!”
And did anybody say hey to Taylor at the Barnes & Noble last night? Anybody? My Buzz colleague says he did dine at 2 Urban Licks.
Pasha & Lauren (Hip Hop) - WOW, cool routine. I liked it a lot. Kameron & Sabra (contemporary) - They looked good but I didn't understand the routine (again contemporary is not one of my favorite types of dance). I agree with the judges, Sabra was really good. Danny & Lacey (samba) - That was HOT! Dominic & Jamie (Viennese Waltz) - I liked it however the judges didn't seem to. Neil & Sara (disco) - That was HOT! That split leg flip that Neil did was awesome!
Solo Order: Jamie Dominic Sara Pasha Lauren Neil Sabra Kameron Lacey Danny
I could not stand the solo routine. However, they all looked good to me.
My Couples Rankings: 1. Danny & Lacey 2. Neil & Sara 3. Pasha & Lauren 4. Kameron & Sabra\Dominic & Jamie
My Guys Rankings: 1. Pasha\Danny 3. Dominic\Kameron\Neil
My Girls Rankings: 1. Lacey 2. Lauren\Jamie\Sabra\Sara
This NASCAR Silly Season is gaining alot of steam. Here is a rumor in the Winston Salem Journal:
Ryan Newman’s future continues to be a question mark in the NASCAR garage, and it’s not clear if he will be back with car owner Roger Penske next season. If not, Newman could become a candidate for the fourth Richard Childress team.
Hey IdolLVR, Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your recaps of SYTYCD. I missed about half the show tonight, so it's great to be able to catch up on what happened!
Oops...that should say last night. I'm not tired, really!

Good morning mitch and mike....i would like to see newman in another car...RCR would be a nice deal....If i were a driver...PLEASE DONT PUT ME IN A DODGE!!!!...yall agree?
Hey, Grace, Mike and Mitch! Going to be a busy day again. IdolLVR, I like your recaps, too. Didn't get to see any of SYTYCD last night.
Greg's name was in the credits for Entertainment Tonight on Saturday(although they run the credits so fast you have to tape them and slow them down to see it.) It will be there again this Saturday but he is leaving his job there to start work as a casting assistant at a company that shall remain nameless(at least until he let's me name it :-) ). Aside from a nice raise and BENEFITS, the biggest advantage he sees in this, is sitting at a bar in Hollywood and telling some actress wannabe that he's a casting director!!!
I posted the other day about the media's obsession with posting everything about celebs. Mindy McCready, had very minimal success with country music. She had 3 top 10 hits with 1 #1 hit. She has not had a top 10 since 1997, no top 40 since 1998 and no releases since 2002.
She has had several run ins with the law the last few years and still the media finds it necessary to report every detail of her latest run in. (She is in both charlotte.com & ajc.com).
And I am still very relieved to know Beyonce bought a dress at Lenox. I can breathe easier now knowing she shops likes the rest of us. LOL
IdolLVR, you can add my agreement to your analysis except that i did NOT like the spanish version of the viennese waltz....and i TOTALLY blame the choreographer for the bad comments.... they did what they were TOLD to do, and then blasted because they didn't do a more traditional dance....DUH!?!?! i think the choreo's idea was perhaps clever, but in execution i think it bombed and gave the dancers a bad break and thus bad reviews.
oh well....i've always been a Lacey fan, so i absolutely agree she's tops! i am thinking, IF Danny can open up emotionally a little bit we will probably see a danny/lacey (dancey?) finale.... if he doesn't, it will either be the look-alikes (well sort of, they looked a LOT alike in the solos last night) lacey and lauren, OR lacey and sabra.
IF people don't get complacent about voting for lacey that is! no more "bottom 3 danceoff" to save our faves!
D - Congrats to Greg. who knows, he could 'discover' the next [who was it that was discovered at the soda fountain?]...

Good morning D!

LOL @ Mitch. I saw Travis Tritt one time at Kmart but it didnt make the news LOL! He even bought one of my nephews a tape of his I think it was the one with Country Club on it. It as a long time ago. Think I should alert the media to this story?
linnykat, I agree with you on the Viennese Waltz. I think Dominic and Jamie did a good job (especially Jamie). I was sitting there thinking that they were getting lambasted for a routine that they didn't choreograph - someone else did. They did what they were told to do. The routine was not what I expected but I still liked it.
Yeah, Lacey and Lauren did look a lot alike in the solos. It is going to be really hard to let any of the girls go tonight - they are all so good in my opinion. To me it is a toss up with one of Neil, Karmeron and Dominic going home. I haven't really liked Neil too much but he's really stepped it up in the last couple of weeks.
mornin' greg...morning K, Mitch, Mike, D, Grace, IdolLVR (next time you log on), and to all those who've not yet appeared.....howDEEEE! (that would be shay, carla, jex, kimmie, etc etc.)
i sure do miss YoDaddy and Wanda and a few others from the season....if you guys check in, send a howdy out!!!!!
I'll try to watch the results show...you always get to see at least a little bit of the dance.
On the celebrity thing, Mitch....I don't think I'd be a celebrity no matter what they wanted to pay me. You can't go to the bathroom without a camera shoved in your face.
KPH..lol! He starts working there on Monday...I'll let you know if there's a couch.
linny, as experts of Idol, we know people ALWAYS get complacent!
Idol!!!! Hey hon!!! i agree... i'm not sure that at this point it should be "lowest guy, lowest gal" ... when did they drop that last year?? pretty late, i guess ... but since it ended up Travis and Benji, they DID drop it at some point!
i do NOT like (although i do see the point of) the "same routine" competition. if i EVER hear that song again i may puke, and i figure it will probably be the basis of their group performance tonight *sigh*
KPH, yes, Lacey can cut the rug. That samba was HOT! Danny wasn't too bad either. I liked his, Lacey's and Lauren's solos the best. I couldn't stand the routine however (as I said last night).
I think they drop the one girl, one guy thing when they get down to the last two pairs and then it'll be one a week after that.
I didn't like the one routine solo thing either. I don't remember them doing that last year. I sure hope they don't keep that up! I also hope I don't hear that song again, but you are probably right, tonight's group performance will be based on that song and routine.
Hope so RC. He doesn't usually hang around during the offseason but he's been on a few times this year. If you're lurking out there, Yo, we're thinking about you.
You too, Wanda...we need your sassiness back! Miss you as well, Shay, Carla and Shaun. Hope you come back to the fold. I think Jex is on vacation and we'll be hearing from her soon!
Well, I've gotta feed the work monster. I'll be back on this evening for the results show. Have a great day everyone!

Morning all!
So D, that is awesome news about Greg! Way too cool. My biggest regret in life is that i didn't try to be an actor, my hubby has for years tried to talk me into going for it but, i'm too old and fat (for hollywood's standards) plus, i like being present for my family. Speaking of them, I am missing my kids something awful:( I cry everytime I talk to them. I'm on a countdown waiting to see them. Did you like the movie last night D? I think I am going to see Transformers this weekend (for my hubby) although I really want to see Becoming Jane.
LOL, kimmy...I'm laughing at seeing the Transformers...my kids grew up during that show and they both talk about the movie non-stop...like I was paying attention to the show and have any idea what they're talking about.
Hairspray is the most EXUBERANT movie I've ever seen. Even the civil rights march is uplifting. The music is fun, the action(dancing) is non-stop and the girl who plays the lead puts a smile on your face that's impossible to wipe off. It's a very sweet, naive yet savvy story about a dance show in 1962 and the integration of that show. Very well done!
You'll see those kids soon, kimmie!!!! hang in there!
I hate it that we have lost some of our regular bloggers over someone elses ignorance. It's a low down dirty shame and unbelieveable. Oh well.....!?!?!?

Hey All. I'm hoping & praying this is going to turn out good. SS Determination sent Paul to a Psychiatrist yesterday to determine the extent of the damage from his stroke a year ago. Paul was unable to do the tests that the Doc was having him do. The Doc told him it was a good thing he had me to the budget and pay the bills. He also told him there was considerable damage to his memory. He said he wasn't saying that he should be committed (jokingly). Paul has already been turned down once. Hopefully with what this Doc said, it will help him get it. He has already been turned down once.

1. Good Morning Everyone! I won’t even ask, ‘cause I know EVERYONE missed me terribly. And no, I did not have a good time. Some times family is worse than other folk.
Mitch I'm sorry to hear about Paul. I know Somebody I can talk to about that. Be strong.
I’m still catchin’ up on work, so I haven’t had time to catch up in here. What’s been goin’ on? I gives not a crap about Paula’s break down, and I didn’t get to see Tay Tay at B&N. I am currently on Prozac because of that. I’ll be okay though.
maybe some folks are just taking a breather.... and will be back ... it IS vacation time, after all, and things DID get rather intense.... i hope that's all it is...
JEXICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! welcome back!!! you were missed!!! and i can TOTALLY sympathize with the family being sometimes worse than other folk... when i go visit family i HAVE to keep it for 4 days or less, because by day 5.... my patience is GONE! and i'm sure they're glad to see me go by then, too!!!
He gets board sitting at home all the time. We usually save all of "fun money" for a few weeks to do things he wants to do to get him out of the house.

LOL! yes, Jexy you have been missed! I hope everything goes well for Paul, Mitch. I know how frusterating the government can be. I have seen the incompetence first hand from a situation w/my dad and his army retirement.

D you have mail...couild you forward it to linny and kph??..thanks babe!
actually Jex.... greg got blamed for being bad but he really wasn't this time!!! a certain sports-related debacle caused much controversy and hard feelings unfortunately... hopefully all will smoothe over soon!

Jex...we were asked not to talk about Mike Vick a few days ago and, it was my opinion that, talking about Vick would actually be a good thing. I have my side of the story and choc has her side of the story but, basically, if you go back and read the blog...I can't remember the name of it...I'll type it into my next entry....you'll get a pretty good idea of what happened.
The blog is titled Departure Cliches..Kellie Q&A's
I in no way meant to offend anyone but apparently I did. I still stand by my belief that talking about ANYTHING is better than sweeping it under the rug.
Great to hear from you too! Missed you alotl. I am sitting at my desk eating my dry lunch. I hate things got out of control here on Monday, as I determined that Monday's conversation was not relevant to Vick at all. I think alot of people are missing that. After going back and reading, I came to the conclusion that sometimes people need to swallow their pride and stop thinking the world revolves around them. Not naming anyone in particular, because you guys already know who you are, but just stating the facts. People do have feelings and sometimes the small trivial things are what can set a person off. You never know what a person is going through. That's why I suggested we drop the subject. Not because it was Vick, but because that particular topic at the time was causing other problems. It seems obvious that people have taken sides, but you know I won't hold anything back no matter who I think is right or wrong. That's why I said that you guys could go on and speak on the Vick issue and I would just skip over it. I have noticed that the topic hasn't been discussed since then. Why is that? Why drop it now? People's feelings weren't important enough to drop it on Monday.
And also, we don't have a superior here on the blog and everyone has equal rights to state their opinion, but we also have to respect each other too. What I still can't understand is why one troll on here continues to stir up crap and is constantly defended, even by one person in particular on here that he has bashed several times this year. I don't get it. Anyway,
I will be back in an hour or so. I have to go pick up some school supplies. KPH, I will chat with you later.
Shay...how long have we been chatting with each other? My first 2 comments on Monday were not about Vick but about people's need to TALK about Vick. I would not have continued the subject if I had not been attacked by Choc. At that point I felt the need to defend my position. And I was rewarded with another attack. I know you well enough after all this time to know that if someone attacked you personally, you would fight back. Choc is a regular here so I felt that iggit was out of the question. We are not talking about Vick now in deference to you, Carla and Shaun, but Vick will go on trial at some point and I would hope that you will be part of that conversation. I'm sorry that I stepped on your feelings...that was not my intention, but you and Choc were not the only ones who got their feelings stepped on Monday.
