State House members voted narrowly Friday to resurrect aspects of a Senate bill relating to domestic terrorism.

Language from Senate Bill 1, which establishes a separate Department of Homeland Security, was attached to House Bill 452, which creates a database of unauthorized immigrants who commit felonies.

On Tuesday, House members voted not once, but twice against SB 1, a top Senate GOP priority.

The bill passed the House Friday with 96 votes, five more than the necessary 91 votes to pass. It now goes back to the Senate for review.
