May 16, 2016 - Atlanta - Graduates celebrate as they line up for the processional. Clark Atlanta University class of 2016 filled Panther Stadium Monday morning for it's 27th annual Commencement Service. The keynote speaker was retired astronaut Mae Jemison, the first woman of color in Space. Honorary degrees were awarded to Hamilton Bohannon, a 1964 graduate of Clark College; Roland Carter; Congressman John Conyers, and Congressman Hank Johnson, a 1976 Clark College graduate.
