A noted gastroenterologist recently told Georgia’s Medical Cannabis Commission that, while more study is needed, the substance is widely known to help cancer patients reduce pain and nausea and increase appetite, which ultimately helps fight infections. Today, we provide the testimony he delivered to the commission Sept. 30, in which he outlines how the state can best proceed with cultivation and dispensing of medical cannabis.
