Thirty-eight students from Gwinnett’s Collins Hill High School have been recognized for their high scores on the National German Exam. Students who scored above 85 percent on the exam will be honored at a ceremony at the German Embassy in Atlanta. Several students at school received special recognition. Garrett Helmick received a perfect score on the National German III exam and is ranked first in the state. Allie Burg scored a 99 percent on the German II exam and is also ranked first in the state. Aaron Krask and Jennifer Shaffer placed fourth and fifth respectively on the German IV exam.
