White nationalists took to the streets of Shelbyville Saturday to participate in a “White Lives Matter” rally and march.

The small Tennessee town has been preparing for the controversial event. A heavy law enforcement presence hopes to avoid violent skirmishes between rally supporters and protesters like the ones that took place this summer in Charlottesville, Virginia.
