Photos: Harrison Ford 'battered but OK' after crash

Actor Harrison Ford was injured when the vintage plane he was piloting crashed at a golf course March 5, 2015 in Venice, California. He was taken to a nearby hospital. His son, Ben Ford, said he was “battered but OK” following the incident and thanked supporters for their well wishes. Ford’s publicist, Ina Treciokas, released this statement: “Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which had engine trouble upon takeoff. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care.
