Donald Trump’s campaign began with an escalator ride; Twitter loved it

Business mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president on Tuesday, and the Internet responded, well, as the Internet does.

Especially when Trump entered the event via a rather unconventional method: escalator.

Most other candidates walked through a large curtain and then through a cheering crowd to a waiting podium to make their announcements.

But not Trump.

As you can imagine, Twitter was on fire with comments about Trump’s unique entrance.
