Mitchell Northam is the North Fulton reporter for the AJC's hyperlocal team. He is a native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland and graduated from Salisbury University in 2015. Mitchell then worked for the Delmarva Daily Times for two years, first as a breaking news reporter before covering high school, college and pro sports in the area. He has also written for USA Today, SB Nation, SBIsoccer.com and DMVelite.com. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
