The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has launched a subscriber-only premium website, MyAJC.com. It is the latest in our digital lineup of paid and free products that allow total access to our in-depth news content on computers, tablets and smartphones.
My AJC.com is designed for readers — and exclusively for subscribers. This site adds to our December 2012 release of new paid tablet apps, such as Today’s Paper, and new apps for smartphones.
AJC subscribers were first to get to see the site. Now, we are offering a free preview through May 15. Following the free preview, access to the site will be included in print and digital subscriptions. During the free preview you may notice that some stories on AJC.com are noted as premium content with a red “My” icon.
Between now and May 15, readers can view these stories for free. Beginning May 16, premium content will be offered in two forms. All readers can read a preview of the story, typically a headline and the first three paragraphs of the article. Viewing the full article will require a subscription to the AJC.
Here are few answers to frequently asked questions about what you’ll see:
Q: What is MyAJC.com?
A: MyAJC.com is a new premium website designed for readers, exclusively for subscribers. MyAJC.com offers total access to the best in-depth local news coverage and investigative reports. Get news where and when you want it: from your computer, tablet or smartphone. MyAJC.com automatically adjusts formats, providing you the best reading experience. Plus, it’s organized like a newspaper so it’s easy to find what you are looking for.
Q: Is AJC.com going away?
A: No. Our approach to delivering news is different from other newspapers across the country that have set up paywalls on their existing websites. We are moving forward with a two website strategy: the new premium subscriber website to super-serve our subscribers; and AJC.com, our free website, which will continue to provide content to that audience.
Our new premium website, MyAJC.com, is another way to offer our subscribers in-depth content, a better newspaper-like experience and the best of print plus the functionality of digital.
Q: Why are you making this change?
A: We are adding these exciting new products to complement our print edition and make our content more accessible to our subscribers with digital devices. It also enables us to offer more subscription package options to match your lifestyle and allows readers to choose how to read our quality news and information.
Q: I clicked on a story while visiting ajc.com and only saw a few paragraphs. Where is the rest of the story?
A: You have clicked on premium content that is available only to print and digital subscribers of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. To continue reading the entire story online, click on the button to log in to your account. If you do not have an AJC subscription, click on the box to learn more about access to our print and digital products.

- A complete experience built around reading.
