Traveling for Labor Day? Binge on our Breakdown podcast

We’ve now uploaded all six episodes of the AJC’s exclusive podcast, “Breakdown: Murder Below the Gnat Line” to iTunes and other podcast platforms.

The Labor Day holiday is a great time to binge-listen to “Breakdown,” especially if you’re traveling. The troubling story of Devonia Inman, in prison for the murder of Donna Brown, illustrates some critical breakdowns in Georgia’s criminal justice system.

Here’s what some iTunes reviewers had to say:

Another great series #4. Exactly the type of story that needs to be heard.

Enjoy Breakdown ***** by Almostblind 1

Breakdown isn’t Truth and Justice, Undisclosed or any of the multitude of other true crime podcasts. It is still one of my favorites. I like the slow, deliberate, journalistic style and that they don’t take sides until the verdict is reached. Seems “fair and balanced” to me. Season 4 is my favorite.

My favorite true crime podcast ***** by DRBSPH107

I love Bill Rankin’s narration, and the stories on each season of Breakdown are engrossing and interesting. You have to pay attention, but why else would you listen to a podcast? I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts: this is by far my favorite.

The reporting is thoughtful, compassionate and well delivered.

You can start your binge right here, right now. Or you can download all six episodes from iTunes, Stitcher or your podcast platform of choice.
