Applications are being accepted for a free tech summer camp for DeKalb County middle school students.

Techie Camp is a full-day, weeklong experience designed for elementary and middle school students, the district said. The goal is to stimulate a deeper interest in technology.

Each camp is comprised of 16 students and lead by two instructors.

The camps are held July 10-14 at the Stonecrest Library; July 17-21 at the Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library; and July 24-28 at the Salem-Panola Library. It runs daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
