These 47 Fulton establishments recently signed no-smoking policies

As part of an initiative to discourage tobacco use and reduce secondhand smoke, Fulton County made a list of area restaurants and bars that recently instituted no-smoking policies.

The Guide to Smoke-Free Bars & Restaurants lists the names, addresses and phone numbers of 47 establishments in Alpharetta, Atlanta, Johns Creek, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville and Roswell. Popular eateries such as Highland Bakery, Parish and The Family Dog are included.

The restaurants can also be identified by green-and-white "Proud To Be Smoke Free Fulton" decals on their doors or windows.

Eight-seven percent of Fulton residents support smoke-free venues, according to a county-funded study by the Georgia State University School of Public Health.

The following places signed a resolution to adopt smoke-free policies:
