2 Atlanta streets closed, Homeland Security called to mercury investigation

Some Kennesaw roads closed for Saturday event


Kennesaw city officials have announced several road closures for “A Day With Santa” on Saturday.

  • Cherokee Street will be closed 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Big Shanty Drive to Main Street for Depot Park activities.
  • Main Street will be closed 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. from Park Drive to Summer Street for the parade.
  • Roads closed at Main Street will include Park Drive, Lewis Street, Dallas Street, Whitfield Place, Moon Station Road, J.O. Stephenson Avenue, Watts Drive, Cemetery Street and Summers Street.
  • Cemetery Street will be closed from Main Street to School Drive, and School Drive will be closed from Cemetery Street to Keene Street.
