The Sandy Springs City Council has cleared the way for bookings to begin of its new Performing Arts Center at City Springs by approving a schedule of rental rates for the multipurpose venue.

“Hopefully, with passage, this puts us in show business the first week of August,” PAC General Manager Michael Enoch told the council. At that time, the facility — to be completed next spring — will start taking holds for public use starting in July or August of 2018, he said.

Commercial daily rentals, for example, will range from $100 (plus expenses) for the smallest boardroom to $300 to $800 for the multipurpose space, $800 for the outside terrace, $950 for the city bar, $1,200 for the studio theater, $1,500 for the city green and $3,500 for the main performance hall with 1,100 seats.

Discounted rentals will be available to nonprofit organizations. Half-day and hourly rates will be available for some spaces. The rate schedule runs from July 1 to June 30 and is subject to re-approval each year.
