Roswell set for 36th annual quilt show at Bulloch Hall

From March 8 to 19, Bulloch Hall in Roswell will host its annual Quilt Show. More than 170 pieces of quilted art will be on display.

Roswell’s historic Bulloch Hall will play host to a quilt show for 12 days in March.

The 36th Annual Great American Cover-Up Quilt Show is set to begin on March 8 at 6 p.m. with an opening reception. Events with the show run through March 19.

This year's theme is National Parks, and all 58 of the United States' national parks will be displayed in quilted art. Tickets to the opening night reception are $10 and can be purchased here.

More than 170 pieces of quilted art will be on display at the annual show. Daily admission to the show is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for children. It will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

On March 12, Dr. J. Drew Lanham of Clemson University will speak and sign copies of his book at Bulloch Hall from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. He has worked in the fields of ornithology and wildlife ecology, and is the author of “The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature.”

On March 19, there will be a special meet-and-greet session with fiber artists Elizabeth Barton from 2 to 4 p.m.
