As part of an expansion of Emory Healthcare’s primary care services, a new clinic has opened in Buckhead.

Emory at Peachtree Hills began service Nov. 6 in the building that was years ago occupied by Sean "Diddy" Combs' former eatery, Justin's Restaurant, at 2200 Peachtree Road.

The clinic can treat patients 18 years and older for illnesses such as infections and flu; manage issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure; and tend to minor injuries such as sprains, strains and removing stitches. It also offers general internal medicine and preventive care services such as physical exams; immunizations; targeted healthcare for those 65 and older; and pap and pelvic exams.

The new location comes amid Emory Healthcare's attempt to "meet the growing demand of patients in need of primary care providers," according to a September press release that announced the opening of nine new clinics across Marietta, Roswell, Brookhaven, Decatur, Smyrna, Austell, Duluth and Atlanta.

The other new Atlanta location — Emory Clinic at Old Fourth Ward — opened in August.

The Peachtree Hills outpost is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with free parking in the back of the building. Most major health insurances are accepted, and the phone number is 404-778-0118.
