MLK Day events require road closures

WSB Radio has a list of road closures caused by Martin Luther King Jr. Day events today.

They include:

  • 10th Street in both directions for the MLK Day 5K "Let Freedom Run," which began at 8 a.m.;
  • Auburn Avenue in both directions for the King Week Holiday march and rally, which begins at 2 p.m.;
  • Portions of Hood Avenue, Highway 85 and Highway 54 in Fayetteville for the MLK Jr. Day parade, which begins at 10:30 a.m. at Fayette County High School; and
  • Portions of Lawrenceville Highway and Langley Drive in Lawrenceville for the Gwinnett County MLK Day Parade at 11 a.m.
