Atlanta police are calling on the public to help identify a suspect who was allegedly involved in a southwest Atlanta armed robbery last week.

Surveillance video from Sylvan Food Mart, 1709 Sylvan Road, shows the incident that took place around 9 p.m. on Oct. 6.

A store employee told police he was sitting behind the counter when a man with a hockey mask over his face pulled out a gun. Video footage shows emojis on his shirts.

The suspect told the man to “give him the (expletive) money,” according to an incident report. The victim told the suspect not to shoot him and handed over about $180, the Atlanta Police Department report said.

The suspect allegedly ran away, and police found a hockey mask in the parking lot.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest.
