In celebration of its bicentennial year, Gwinnett County is offering a series of historical bus tours this year.
The tours will be once a month, January through April. Each of the four tours will focus on different topics and areas in the county.

On Jan. 24, the tour will feature historic sites in Lawrenceville, Duluth, Norcross and Mechanicsville, including stops at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, Payne-Corley House and the Norcross Baseball and Fire Museum. The Feb. 24 tour will focus on sites in Lawrenceville, Grayson, Snellville, Centervile and Lilburn, including time to shop and dine in downtown Lilburn. On March 21, the tour will explore Lawrenceville, Buford, Suwanee, Sugar Hill and Dacula. The April 24 tour focuses on the role of sports in Gwinnett County's history.
The first three tours will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The April tour runs from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each tour is $36 per person and you can register at gwinnettparks.com or by calling 678-277-0890.
