Here’s when the new DeKalb Hobby Lobby is opening


Hobby Lobby has picked a date to open its new DeKalb County store.

The grand opening celebration is May 29 at 9 a.m. at the new Tucker Meridian shopping center, the city of Tucker announced.

“That's great news for Tucker crafters!” the city posted on Facebook.

The massive Tucker Meridian development is located at the intersection of Lavista Road and Northlake Parkway, with at least eight popular chains planned. 

Four other popular chains have also announced opening dates.
