Henry County commissioners approve $4.3 million project


A bid of $4,366,850 for the construction of a major intersection improvement project on Anvil Block Road was approved recently by the Henry County Board of Commissioners. The board also approved a budget amendment of $1,641,000 for utility relocation and construction related to the project, transferring funds from another SPLOST project at East Atlanta, Thurman and Flat Rock roads.

The Anvil Block Road project was originally designated under a previous SPLOST program.
