This is a 1040 tax form. Already confused? No worries; some students in Cobb will help you figure it out.

The tax deadline is here, but it's going to be OK if you haven't filed. Just breathe.

Better?

Either way, hopefully this will help: Osborne High School students will do your taxes for free today and tomorrow. (Tuesday, you know, the tax filing DEADLINE.)

Osborne's IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance — VITA — center caters to taxpayers with low to moderate incomes.

It is run by the students and staff at History Makers Church, on Windy Hill Road in Marietta, to teach the students about business.

Osborne has been running the tax center since 2011, according to the Cobb County School District. Similar programs are being run at high schools in Gwinnett and community centers in Fulton counties.

In that time, the district claims students have prepared more than 1,300 tax returns, yielding $800,000 in refunds.

You can make an appointment by calling 678-744-6470.
