Dunwoody cops release video of home invaders who pistol-whipped mom

Weeks later, Dunwoody police still need help finding two violent home invaders who slipped into a woman's home as she walked her kids to the bus.

Police released surveillance video Tuesday from the victim's home at Dunwoody Glen apartments on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. It shows the men tackling her on Nov. 9 around 6:30 a.m.

Police say the victim was also punched in the face and struck in the head with a pistol as the intruders demanded money.

"The victim was able to escape her attackers after fighting them off," police said in a news release. "The suspects then removed a large safe containing the victim’s personal valuables and fled on foot out of the same (unlocked) window they entered from."

Marietta residents Norm and Barbara Keller were not at home Friday when a twin-engine plane spiraled into their front yard, setting their home ablaze. They thank God for that. The Kellers were having dinner at St. Joseph Catholic Church, a common practice for observant Catholics during Lent, a period of religious reflection leading up to Easter. &ldquo...

Pallookaville stabbing ‘came from out of nowhere’ owner says

There was no fight. No history. No words were spoken before a part-time line cook started stabbing a dishwasher at a popular corndog restaurant in Avondale Estates, Pallokaville Fine Foods owner Jason Hylton told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Sunday. But James Thomas, a dishwasher at Pallookaville who was stabbed 11 times on March 14, told...
