Dates, polling places set for Roswell runoff election

Advanced voting for the Dec. 5 municipal general and special runoff elections in Roswell will take place Nov. 27 through Dec. 1 at four locations in and around the city, officials announced.

Early voting will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Alpharetta Branch Library, 10 Park Plaza; East Roswell Branch Library, 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road; Roswell Branch Library, 115 Norcross St.; and North Fulton Service Center (Room 232), 7741 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs. There will be no weekend voting.

Candidates in the general runoff election are Matt Judy and Karen Parrish in City Council Post 6; and Lori Henry and Lee Jenkins in the mayor’s race. Candidates in the special runoff election are Sean A. Groer and Mike Nyden, to fill an unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2019, in City Council Post 3.

Voters in Roswell must be registered to vote in Fulton County, officials said. The last day to register was Oct. 10. To make accommodations due to disability, go to www.fultonelections.com or call 404-612-7020.
