Atlanta police believe this man is responsible for several hotel thefts in downtown Atlanta.

Police are enlisting the public’s help to identify a man they say is responsible for several hotel thefts that began in April in downtown Atlanta.

The “casually dressed suspect” would enter the Marriott Hotel at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue, between noon and 4 p.m. — during convention hours — according to a press release. He’d enter the atrium level and allegedly walk off with laptops and book bags left unattended during that time.

The suspect is seen on camera June 26 taking a guest’s laptop from the Marriott, police said. Police also said the man has recently started targeting other hotels, allegedly taking two laptops from the Westin at 210 Peachtree Street.

Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an indictment. The tipster doesn’t have to provide their name in order to be eligible for the reward.

Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the tip line at 404-577-8477, online or by texting CSA and the tip to 274637.
