The dog, a 2-year-old Yorkie named Blondie, was snatched last Friday on Barone Avenue near Clairmont Road, police said in news release Tuesday.

"The victim advised as she was walking her dog on Barone Ave, her dog was able to break free from her control with the leash still attached and run towards an unknown male subject," the release, issued on Facebook, said.
