Buford Schools delayed during tornado warning


The Buford School District delayed sending students home during a tornado warning Wednesday afternoon in Gwinnett County. 

It is unknown what time all students will be sent home, but Buford High School students were released around 2:50 p.m. The school normally dismisses at 2:35 p.m.

Buford Academy has buses delayed until after 3:30 p.m. The elementary school usually dismisses at 3:15 p.m.

The tornado warning was in effect until 2:45 p.m.
