Atlanta Classic Cars: Roswell man’s 1986 Pantera combines speed, beauty

Jim Wagner’s car is a real head-turner. His 1986 DeTomaso Pantera GT5 S is a perfect combination of power and beauty.

Wagner purchased the mid-engine sports car from the original owner back in 1986 and didn’t get to drive it very much.

Recently, he freshened up the engine, tires and wheels, and made a few minor fixes so he could enjoy the Pantera.

The car, one of only 28 made in this version, is now nearly flawless.

Like Wagner, there are so many people in metro Atlanta who love their classic cars.

From Fayette to Forsyth counties, these beautiful machines can be seen cruising the back roads and highways of this state.

This video series has been created to showcase some of the fantastic cars in metro Atlanta and the people who put in the time, sweat and money to keep the tires rolling and the engines humming.
