More than 500 JROTC cadets from DeKalb County schools will participate in a special drill and review in honor of local veterans on Friday, in observance of Veterans Day.
The cadets represent units from different branches of the United States Armed Forces in the annual event. The district will pay homage to staff members that are veterans, as well as members of the community that participate.

The event is 9:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 10, at the Robert R. Freeman Administrative and Instructional Complex, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd., Stone Mountain.
