Barney Simms, the 70-year-old president of his neighborhood association, was found dead in his yard on Connally Drive in Southwest Atlanta on April 9, 2016. Simms' neighborhood is part of the APD's Zone 4. The map below shows the locations of reported homicides in Zone 4 from 2011-2016. Data is incomplete for 2016. To view the individual addresses where homicides were reported, click on the map points below. The address will show on the left side of the map. To view all addresses, click on the box icon left of the map title. The map is color-coded by the year the homicide was reported. Simms' address is marked with a triangular icon.
